  • NEW! Worcester Vet Center needs volunteers to help answer phones, make appointments and greet clients. Worcester Vet Center provides a wide range of social and psychological services to eligible Veterans in the Worcester area. They are located at 255 Park Ave in Worcester and have available parking for volunteers. If you are available to help them out, please call Tiffany at 508-791-7787 to find out more!
  • NEW! Do you live in a senior, retirement or assisted living community and want an opportunity to volunteer in your place of residence? The RSVP Special Projects Group might be perfect for your community! During the next few months, we are working on letters and cards to put into care packages that are sent to veterans and soldiers overseas! Care Package recipients tell us these letters, notes, and drawings are the most cherished items in their boxes. We need volunteers to decorate or write or both! Call Tiffany at 508-791-7787 to set up an RSVP Volunteer group today! RSVP Letter Writing also takes place here at the Worcester Senior Center on the SECOND and LAST Tuesday of the month in room 204 from 10AM-12PM. Anyone is welcome to join!!

  • CALL NOW! Become an ESL Tutor! Share conversation, reading, writing, and American culture! FREE training provided to provide you with all of the tools you will need. The next training session starts on October 8th. Call Tiffany at RSVP today to reserve your spot! Sessions fill up FAST!
  • Community Harvest Project, Volunteers needed for Washing, sorting and packing of vegetables in the greenhouse. Individuals and families can stop by the Grafton farm to volunteer between 9 am-noon, Monday-Friday, and 10am-1pm on Saturdays, May-September. No orientation, training, registration, or notification is required. Feel free to bring a family member as well! Get some fresh air while supporting the community. Season length can vary due to the nature of farming and CHP is closed on all major holidays. Call Tiffany at RSVP to get signed up for a shift!
  • Fraud Brigade, join RSVP’s Senior Fraud Prevention program and serve at senior centers near you 1-2 hours per week!
  • Habitat For Humanity ReStore, a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center. Volunteer in the customer service department or help to organize donations. Great environment and flexible hours!
  • Volunteers needed to prepare or deliver Meals on Wheels – call to find a location near you!
  • CASA Project Worcester County, court-appointed special advocates for children in need.
  • Audio Journal volunteers needed to make a difference in the lives of vision-impaired residents of Worcester County. Audio Journal also needs help with fundraising and sending out invitations to events.
  • WCUW 91.3fm Community Radio needs volunteers to help out in their CD Music Department.
  • Saint Vincents Hospital Volunteers needed to provide a friendly welcome to patients and others entering the hospital and provide general information to help locate patient’s rooms.
  • Rachel’s Table Volunteer from HOME as a dispatcher OR transport unserved and unsold perishable and prepared foods that otherwise would be wasted to shelters, soup kitchens and neighborhood pantries throughout Worcester County.
  • JHC Hospice Volunteer Support patients and their families during the last phases of life this Fall. Summer training may be available! Contact Tiffany if interested.
