Parents Apart

Divorce has a profound impact on children. Parents have a significant obligation and opportunity to help their children cope with the loss and changes. This two day, five hour Massachusetts Probate and Family Court approved Parent Education Program is specifically designed to assist parents in understanding the impact of divorce on children. It will provide them with the skills and tools necessary to lessen this impact, to help children adjust to their new households and to promote co-parenting.

This Program Will:

  • Provide an overview of children’s reactions to divorce
  • Teach parents skills that help children cope
  • Illustrate common pitfalls to avoid and reduce conflict
  • Be led by two certified presenters
  • Include written resources and a handbook
