Center for Childcare Careers


The Center for Childcare Careers is the lead agency for the Region 2 Educator and Provider Support Partnership (EPS). Funding is provided by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education & Care.

Our program promotes four core services to support early childhood educators and child care programs:

  • Career Advising and Guidance on Career Pathways to develop a professional development plan
  • Developing Competencies through coursework and attainment of degrees and credentials
  • Coaching and Mentoring to develop and improve competencies in working with children and families
  • Achieving and maintaining program quality through national accreditation and QRIS, the state system for quality improvement
  • Scholarships for CDA, and national accreditation

The Summer Literacy Initiative – a program that links literacy coaches with summer programs to prevent summer learning loss in children entering Grades 1-4. Funding is provided through a grant from United Way of Central Massachusetts.
