Divorce has a profound impact on children. Parents have a significant obligation and opportunity to help their children cope with the loss and changes. This two day, five hour seminar is specifically designed to assist parents in understanding the impact of divorce on children. It will provide them with the skills and tools necessary to lessen this impact, to help children adjust to their new households and to promote co-parenting.
This Program Will:
Provide an overview of children's reactions to divorce
Teach parents skills that help children cope
Illustrate common pitfalls to avoid and reduce conflict
Provide a forum for questions
Include written resources and a handbook
Registration:
Enrollment is on a first come/first served basis and confirmed upon receipt of payment. Parents are required to attend seperate sessions. You will be sent a confirmation letter for the session for which you have registered.
