Family Services of Central Massachusetts is always looking for people who can make a valuable contribution to the lives of others. There are a number of different ways to do this: Counseling - Clinicians who have a Master's Degree in social work or psychology and are licensed LICSW, LMHC or LMFT may find full time or fee for service positions providing individual, family and group counseling. Home Care Aides - Individuals interested in working with elders and the disabled. You will provide cooking, laundry, housekeeping and personal care. The successful candidates will be flexible, friendly and possess good communication skills. Certification is helpful; experience working with seniors is also a plus. Reliable transportation is necessary. Internships - Family Services is an internship site for graduate school students who are studying social work or counseling psychology. Participating colleges and universities include Boston College, Assumption College, Springfield College, Salem State College and Boston University. Volunteers - Send us some ideas of what you would like to do. We do many things, so you might be surprised at how many ways you can find to contribute. Some positions do become available on a regular basis.
